Increase the National Living Wage to £9.21 an hour

Petition Details

The Government has substantially reduced the proposed 5% rise in the National Living Wage, meaning that many low-paid workers, including those working on the front line in care homes and other areas, will not see an increase in their pay in real terms.

Additional Information

The Government should increase the National Living Wage by the full 5.6% proposed, to £9.21. The 2.2% increase to £8.91 set out in the 2020 Spending Review is not sufficient.
