Review to the 15 person limit for Weddings during COVID-19
In light of the new easing of the Coronavirus restrictions after 2nd Dec 2020, it is ludacris that you are allowed up to 4,000 people at a sporting/arena event but only 15 people at a wedding.
Sporting/arena events are filled with strangers, where as weddings are filled with friends and families.
On 23rd November, the government annouced the easing of the Coronavirus measures, post the second lockdown.
It allows for 4,000 people to get together in a sporting/arena event, but only 15 guests to be permitted at weddings.
The wedding industry and couples getting married, would like the government to review the 15 guest limit.
If guests are all socially distant, wear facemasks, temperature checked on entrance and given appropriate santiation measures, the limit of 15 should be increased.
