End Period Poverty and Follow Scotland's Decision to Make Sanitary Products Free
There is not a specific petition calling for sanitary products to be free in the rest of the UK. Scotland has just passed a bill providing free sanitary products to anyone who needs them. I believe the rest of the UK needs to follow this.
Coronavirus has had a large financial impact on many people living in the UK. Therefore it should be a priority that all girls and women have equal access to sanitary products. I believe the recent news regarding Scotland's decision will help generate momentum and create awareness that the rest of the UK could to more to better protect girls and women who are unable to afford sanitary products.
