Follow Scotland’s lead in providing free sanitary items to all in England.
Follow Scotland’s amazing work and implement free sanitary products to all women and girls who need it.
Women and girls are suffering period poverty, missing out in education and various other things as they cannot afford to buy sanitary items. In this day and age, this should not be happening.
Periods are a natural part of life and yet the products to enable women and girls to continue with their day to day life during this time is expensive. Girls are missing education because their families cannot afford products, they’re too embarrassed to ask at school and women are having to often decide between paying for food or sanitary wear at certain times of the month. This should not be happening. Please stop period poverty.
