Hgv drivers to be given set wage

haulage is a huge factor in the industry .
Bare in mind a licence cost £2000 ,
The wagons are a huge responsibly to drive,
Many drivers feel they are over worked and under paid
Average wage as stands now from £7.80-£8.50 per hr
night rate £9-£10 per hour ,unsociable hours , lack of social and family time with trampers only seeing family and children just 2 days a week ,living in a cold cramped cab paying own food bills,
On top of that we must now pay for the new courses out of out pockets to keep our jobs ,
With the wage the same as a shelf stacker who has plenty social time and family time and does not have to pay courses to keep there jobs many drivers are now seeking alternative work due to the low wage ,
Many drivers work many hours to make ends meet
Then to get taxed more making it worthless ,
We ask for the set wage for hgv driving to be set to a minimum of £10 an hour day rate £14 an hour min night rate , trampers to receive a night rate of £25 per night out.
