Switch certain traffic lights off
Switch traffic lights to flash amber as they do in places like Italy, so you don't have to stop and go. More pollution and dust is made by stopping/starting.
For example, in the south, say after 9pm there are hardly any cars on the road, so why stop at pointless traffic lights.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, changing the rules for traffic lights so road users are not required to stop at amber lights.
