Prioritise front-line education providers for the COVID-19 vaccine
It was reported in November '20 that approximately 870,000 students are currently self-isolating due to COVID-19. In Primary Schools, year group bubbles occur which mean 1 teacher is placed in a bubble with up to 60 children. This puts them at much more significant risk.
Educators are providing education to the Professionals of tomorrow. In order to seamlessly provide education, Teachers NEED to be at their places of work. By providing them with the vaccine, you would be lessening their risk of contracting the virus whilst ensuring that their chance of contracting is diminished. Therefore, they would always be at school, providing healthcare throughout the Pandemic.
