Change the BBC from a consumer paid licence fee organisation to pay as you watch
Instead of an annual licence fee to watch 24hour television, it would be better if the corporation drew its income from a pay as you watch scheme in line with other services.
The BBC does no longer cater for the older generation, meaning that they now proportionately pay much more for the limited programmes of interest to their age group.
The older generation rely on television for a means of combatting loneliness, and keeping in touch with the world, however choice is very limited and heavily dependent on repeat programmes
