Re-introduce the safety net used by Uni’s in Summer 2020 for 2021 graduates.
The safety-net was introduced in Summer 2020, meaning students graduating University in this year, received the benefit of being graded based on Year 2. This led to many students not trying as they knew they’d receive a life long degree qualification based off of Year 2.
This has had a huge impact on students who opted into a placement year. Many current final years have friend’s who graduated last year based on results from the same exams they completed together in Year 2. This has furthermore, resulted in many people feeling like they have been treated unfairly considering the current circumstances are much worse than the few months of lockdown which the previous academic year had to cope with.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about the assessment of university courses are a matter for individual universities, not the UK Government or Parliament.
The Office for Students has published guidance for providers about quality and standards during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, which sets out its expectations regarding teaching and assessments: www.officeforstudents.org.uk/publications/guidance-for-providers-about-quality-and-standards-during-coronavirus-pandemic/.
If you have concerns about your university's arrangements for teaching and assessment you should raise these with your university or the Office for Students, which regulates the higher education sector.
