CANCEL 2021 GCSE and A Level Exams

Petition Details

Fall in line with the Welsh government and cancel 2021 GCSE and A Level exams for all students.

Additional Information

Many children lost classroom education during Lockdown 1, were not provided with adequate means or access to home learning support online. Many more weeks have been lost having to self isolate entire year groups, classes and teachers because of COVID 19 cases and will have to sit mock exams at home when this occurs.
This disruption can only worsen in the New Year after Christmas holidays as a result of heightened socialising and mixing households. Please protect these children’s future, the educational disadvantage to them is huge and unfair not to mention the strain on their mental and emotional well being. A delay is NOT enough.
