Petition Action

Lower the voting age from 18 to 16 in the General Election.

Petition Details

We want the voting age to be lowered to 16 in the General Election, giving more younger people the chance to vote.

Additional Information

We want to have the voting age lowered because it is at 16 in Scotland and Wales, so why shouldn't it be 16 in England? It would give the younger generation a chance to have a say in the fate of their future. Our research has shown that the majority of 16-17 year olds would vote if they could.
