Put solar panels on supermarket buildings
Instead of eating up farm land, put solar panels on all large buildings, they can be installed on schools, supermarkets, warehouses.
It will allow wide scale energy to be provided to businesses and residential areas and put back into the grid.
It will stop destruction of farmland

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Deciding to install solar panels on supermarkets would be a matter for the owner of the supermarket, not the Government or House of Commons.
We could accept a petition calling on the Government to increase incentives for installing solar panels on existing structures, to reduce the need for solar farms elsewhere.
