Petition Action

Make Media Studies a compulsory subject in UK schools (from an early age).

Petition Details

We consume information through media. From "fake news" to mental wellbeing, from Film & TV to magazines and social media, ensuring everyone has the skills to understand how information is manipulated to craft a message or sell something is vital if we're going to continue as a functioning society.

Additional Information

The Government knows this is an issue, and campaigns recently surrounding the Coronavirus have only heightened the fact that we desperately need to ensure people are educated enough to deal with these things through the national curriculum.
