Petition Action

Strengthen Immigration Laws to allow foreign born criminals to be deported!

Petition Details

We have seen politicians, actors and lawyers line up together to protest against the deportation of foreign born criminals.
We call upon the Government to introduce legislation to strengthen the Immigration laws to prevent this happening again.

Additional Information

We call upon the Government to strengthen the Immigration Act and the Borders Act 2007 to allow for deportation of foreign born nationals.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. It's already a requirement for the Home Secretary to seek the deportation of foreign nationals, other than in limited circumstances. You can read more here:

commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/cbp-8062/

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
