Audit of MCCD where COVID-19 is mentioned for the period 01/09/20 to 30/11/20
Please confirm the quality and accuracy of MCCD completion for the specificied period.
Particularly confirm that
a. Where COVID-19 is mentioned, that mention is warranted, and;
b. Where COVID-19 is the Underlying Cause of Death, that this is correct and beyond reasonable doubt.
To ensure future policy is appropriate and effective it is crucial that the factors causing deaths are accurately identified and the extent of their impact established.
