Stop or prevent the spread of false information about Covid-19 vaccines
Over the last few months, many people have been afraid or reluctant to get a Covid-19 vaccine should they get the chance and this is growing with no thanks to the spread of false information. It is vital that the government stops the spread of this information on the internet and mainstream media.
Whilst people ultimately have the right to chose whether or not they get the vaccine, it is a greatly important decision that must be made with the correct information available. This is becoming increasingly difficult with with the spread of false information. There has been a push within the scientific community to educate people on the Covid-19 vaccine. However, we need help from the government in stopping this information being spread around.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
The Government has agreed a range of measures with social media platforms with the aim of tackling vaccine misinformation and disinformation. See:

If there is a further specific action you would like the Government or Parliament to take, you could start a new petition calling for this.
