Provide financial and technical intervention to reduce UK port congestion.
Provide financial compensation to importers suffering from dramatically increased freight rates and intervene with industry controls to restrict shipping companies continually increasing prices and to provide advice/support to reduce port congestion.
Financial compensation or tax relief for affected importers
Provide container storage locations near ports to allow overflow of full and empty containers (rather than have containers sat on ships waiting to be unloaded)
