Introduce a new bank holiday to honour key-workers on the date restrictions end
Introduce a bank holiday to mark the contributions of key workers and Emergency services during the COVID-19 crisis and in general.
Key workers and the emergency services are pivotal in our country’s infrastructure and have proven beyond any doubt that they are an invaluable set of services that can be counted on to carry us through major a Crisis such as COVID-19. They carry out their duties tirelessly and selflessly day in day out to care and protect our communities and keep society functioning. Of any causes worthy of a bank holiday this without doubt is at the top of the list.
