Reform military joining standards in relation to historic medical conditions
After finally putting my dream of being an Army nurse into action and applying, I came to a hurdle of the medical screener. I was failed on the reasoning that I had eczema when I was 1 year old, and had moisturiser prescribed to me.
I hope that this petition will prompt the government to reconsider how historic medical conditions are treated in military joining standards, and allow there to be more of a comprehensive medical screener, including a physical appointment, rather than people being classed unfit based on historic medical conditions. Historic medical conditions which no longer affect a person should not mean people are unable to follow their dream career.
You can't sign this petition because it is now closed. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
