Power to the Pococks - give this family electricity
This family live within a few miles of the Beauly to Denny pylon line but Scottish and Southern Energy are asking £220, 000 ,plus the cost of digging trenches to connect them to the national grid. They have children who do their homework by candlelight, is this right in the 21st century, when energy companies are increasing their charges by an astronomical amount.
