Petition Action

Add school staff to the priority list for the COVID-19 vaccine.

Petition Details

COVID-19 has caused widespread disruption to children's education. Not only this, but many school staff have fallen ill during this time.
In order to protect the adults working in schools and to reduce the disruption to children's education, school staff must be prioritised for the vaccine

Additional Information

Children having to isolate has had an impact on families who have to stay at home to look after their children.
Teachers (if they are well enough) have continued to teach online during this time, which has been challenging, especially for younger children
School staff have become ill. This causes worry for the whole community.
Mental wellbeing of staff has been affected due to anxiety and isolated working.
How we teach in the classroom has changed to help keep everyone safe. Many of these methods are not conducive to the best teaching and learning, especially for younger children.
