Make politics part of the curriculum
In this day an age when social media is the primary source of information, and yet so distorted, politics should be a part of the required education.
You ask people to make life changing decisions but don't educate them to understand what those decisions mean. At least give people a chance.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Politics is already included in the Citizenship curriculum. You can find more information about this here:
www.gov.uk/government/publications/national-curriculum-in-england-citizenship-programmes-of-study/national-curriculum-in-england-citizenship-programmes-of-study-for-key-stages-3-and-4
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, if you would like this to be extended to all key stages including primary, you could start a petition calling for that to happen.
