Allow students to wear face coverings in schools
Students should be allowed to wear face coverings anywhere in schools if they want to, including classrooms.
My daughter was punished by her secondary school for refusing to remove her face mask while she was at school. On the other hand, her school had numerous Covid-19 cases. Face coverings are an efficient barrier to the transmission of the virus. Students should be allowed to wear a face covering anywhere at school during the pandemic. Students should not be punished for wearing their face coverings if they would like to.
