Lift restrictions on all social gatherings such as proms, graduations, weddings
We ask that the UK Government lift the bans that limit people attending all social gatherings including: - Proms and Graduations, Weddings & Blessings, Theatre & Concerts, Music Events, Conferences & Public Speaking Events, Entertainment & Hospitality Services.
We believe the ban on social gatherings is inconsistent with the following Article of The Human Rights Act 1998: - Article 8 - Respect for your private and family life'. Under Article 8 of HRA 1998 it states - You have the right to enjoy family relationships without interference from government. This includes the right to live with your family and, where this is not possible, the right to regular contact.
The current ban is not consistent with these rights and need to be lifted.
