Petition Action

Stop the "Christmas bubble" due to a significant increase in Coronavirus cases.

Petition Details

Reverse the "Christmas bubble" idea. It is just a holiday and people can manage as they did in other holidays this year.

Additional Information

Cases are increasing in many areas of the country. Encouraging (or not discouraging) travel and mixing is not sensible at this stage and will likely increase the load on the NHS and potentially lead to them being overwhelmed in January when they will already be overburdened with winter pressures.
We should be taking measures based on the virus and the NHS, not on sentiment.
