Block the "New Fight for Fairness" presented by the Women & Equalities Minister
This policy reset will endanger the rights and privileges protected by the 2010 Equality Act, and many other pieces of legislation - specifically threatening the wellbeing of women, People of Colour the disabled, and LGBTQ+ communities.
It is not the role of one individual, nor any political party to target "the narrow focus on protected characteristics" nor dismiss as virtue signalling, and identity politics issues of fundamental importance to our society . Quite simply we can't have a fairer society without elevating and protecting the needs of individuals.
