Abolish the age gaps in the National Minimum Wage
Abolish the age gaps in the National Minimum Wage. Employees who are able to carry out a job within a business should be entitled to the highest National Minimum wage, regardless of age.
Too many businesses are abusing this system to create a divide in the pay not due to capability, but because of age. This is discrimination.
Young workers are then taken advantage of because they're simply cheaper labour and it is simply not fair.
A business advertises a job as it requires help to run a business, in return for the labour and time, young workers require an adequate wage for being able to live and giving over their time of day.
There is no valid reason for this divide. It's time for change.
