Protect the Human Rights of Cannabis Consumers and Cultivators in Private
The Secretary of State must amend the application of Misuse of Drug Act and immediately cease the searching of private property and the arrest, prosecution and criminalisation of people for the possession, cultivation, preparation and sharing of cannabis to avoid conflict with Human Rights.
The searching of property for possession, sharing or cultivation of cannabis, is unlawfully interfering with the practice of a person’s chosen beliefs, alone or in community, in public or private, and contrary to Articles 8 & 9 of the Human Rights Act unless it can be SHOWN both necessary AND in the interests of national security, public safety, the economic well-being of the country, the prevention of disorder or crime, the protection of health or morals or the rights and freedoms of others.
