People should get punishment - if they are not following lockdown rules.
Actually fine/arrest people who are not wearing masks in public (such as grocery shops, public transportation,... etc.), having parties outdoor or indoor, crowd gathering on the street or at bars/restaurants.
There should be clear action from police side now.
There is/was no actually fine or punishment for people were/are following lockdown rules. They are clearly the main reason Covid-19 cases are increasing in the past, present and the future.
You won't get effective effort - controlling the covid-19 cases if you keep 'advice people do this but if they don't, nothing would happen.' Get the cases number in control. January is still going to be peak time if you're having third Christmas lockdown but did the same 'advice type of rules'.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Fines for committing offences by breaking the Government's rules on social distancing and wearing masks are imposed by the police. You could start a new petition calling for the Government to increase the penalties for breaking these rules, if that's what you'd like to happen.
