Cancel both the GCSE’s and A Levels in England in summer 2021
I would like the Government to cancel next summers GCSE and A Level exams now due to the ongoing pandemic. With all the uncertainty now with parts of the country in varying Tiers, it’s important students can study without any further ongoing uncertainty.
Both Scotland and Wales have cancelled the GCSEs and A Levels in 2021, with grades based on teacher assessments. England needs to follow suit as a matter of urgency to allow the students to concentrate on achieving the best possible grades without the ongoing concern that the exams could be cancelled at any time. The ongoing uncertainty will have a massive affect on their mental health and it’s important they concentrate on their studies at this important time.
