Request an extension to the Brexit transition period.
Request an extension to the Brexit transition period due to the Covid-19 pandemic, by at least one year or until effects of Covid-19 pandemic are under control.
ONS data confirms that the UK's GDP fell 20.4% from April to June of 2020. The compounded effect of the loss of GDP from Covid and ending the transition period without a free trade agreement with the EU will have a unbearable and negative impact on the UK's economy and will lead to social unrest and an extended period of social and economic depression.
