Time to call in the army to help control social distance & Covid-19 law breakers
Pass law to put army on our streets to help the police. Its clear so many people not willing to follow social distance or wear masks. Ignoring the covid-19 law and its guidelines.
With recent Tier 4 announcement and great increase in covid-19 cases. Also many visit the shops without masks and in my job I see many dont wear mask or social distance. It seems some have no interest in following the law or do their bit for the country to deal with this crisis. We need the army now.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Maintaining public order is the responsibility of the police, not the military. The Government has said that the Ministry of Defence is working with a range of partners across Government, including the National Police Chiefs Council and the Home Office, to understand how it can best support the Government’s response to the outbreak. It would be an operational decision for the police whether to request assistance.
