Allow 2 households to form a bubble on any single date from 24/12 to 26/12
Those currently working in Essential roles may have already planned to hold Christmas Celebrations with loved ones before or after Christmas Day. Allow two families to form a Bubble on any one day, to allow those working to join in the festivities.
It is unfair to expect those who have remained critical workers, our Nurses, Doctors, Care, and emergency services to miss out on some sort of Christmas Day. Those who have to work won’t get the opportunity to see any loved ones over the festive period. Allowing flexibility of the day but the principle remaining won’t make any difference. Covid will not be taking the day off on 25th December
