Create additional 'COVID Fightback' Bank Holiday during 2021
Create 2 additional (Friday-Monday) Bank Holidays during summer 2021. Should the country be subject to Tier 4 restrictions or equivalent at the time of the planned holidays these should be carried forward into the following year
People across the country have had to sacrifice many liberties during 2020. Holidays have been cancelled at last minute, loved ones not seen and frontline workers in particular have had to work even harder than they already do. Providing these additional holidays will also provide a welcome boost to the hospitality sector so savagely impacted by the pandemic.
