Petition Action

Vote of no confidence in the UK Government and Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Petition Details

Call for a vote of no confidence in the UK government and Prime Minister Boris Johnson for the government's catastrophic handling of both the coronavirus pandemic and the free trade deal negotiations with the EU.

Additional Information

The UK is facing a health and economic crisis of historic proportions in no small part due to the catastrophic failure of the government and Boris Johnson in their handling of the coronavirus pandemic and negotiating a free trade deal with the EU. The government and Prime Minister have made a long list of mistakes, U-turns, poor decisions and broken promises that have brought both issues to total crisis point. The people of this country deserve stronger and better leadership.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for Ministers to be sacked or for a vote of no confidence.

If you're concerned about a particular policy or decision that's the responsibility of Government or the House of Commons, you could start a petition about that.
