Amend the bylaw in Cardiff prohibiting skateboarding in public areas
We want the bylaw to be amended/abolished so that skateboarders aren’t vilified in Cardiff.
There’s an incorrect stereotype that all skateboarders are miscreants and criminals, this simply isn’t true.
We want the ability to skate freely in open public areas without the threat of police action.
The skateparks around the city are great on sunny summer days, but during wet, cold periods they are unusable and thus we have nowhere to go.
All we ask is that the bylaw be amended, thus ‘decriminalising’ the art of skateboarding.
