Fishing equates to 0.1% GDP. Sign a Brexit deal with 5 years status quo.
Fishing is not an industry, even with potential growth, equates to the downside of a WTO trade deal with the EU. Accept a 5 year status quo on access rights and quotas.
Because the downside of a WTO Brexit outweighs the benefits to a tiny minority industry.
