Recall parliament to vote on updated covid restrictions
The introduction of a new tier as part of the coronavirus restrictions equates to a substantial change to the legislation voted on by parliament on the 1st December. Parliament should have the chance to scrutinise the updated legislation as part of their core function under the UK constitution
This material change impacts millions of people and should be deemed an event of national importance, enough to constitute the recalling of parliament
