All MPs to decline to accept their next pay rise.
To give the gouvernment the opportunity to lead by example in these unprecedented times of austerity.
The gouvernement wants to freeze the pay of the public sector employees when they have been working tiredlessly to help keep the country running. Thousands of people have lost their jobs due to business closures and have lost their source of income. The gouvernment has repeatidly said that we were all in this together. Therefore, all MPs should do the right thing and decline to accept their next pay rise.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for setting MPs' pay. The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) is responsible for deciding on MPs' expenses and pay. IPSA is independent of both Parliament and Government.
You can find out more about IPSA here: www.theipsa.org.uk/about-us/
It would be up to each individual MP, not the Government or House of Commons, what to do with any increase in pay.
