Allow gyms to open in Tier 4 areas for individual exercise
We would like the use of gyms for individual exercise to resume under tier 4.
For man outdoor exercise in the winter isn’t feasible or safe. Also many don’t have the space/equipment to adequately exercise at home.
Gyms have already been set up with measures in place to ensure they’re COVID safe.
The government has stated:
“Sports and physical activity are incredibly important for our physical and mental health, and are a vital weapon against coronavirus”
“Sports and physical activity facilities are crucial for adults and children to stay active”

Gyms may therefore be considered to provide an essential service for our nation’s physical & mental health, and in the fight against COVID.
