Encourage the FA to change the foul ruling to “if excessive force is used”
Contact the FA and encourage a rule change. It should only be a foul, or more specifically a penalty, if an unnecessary amount of force is used to dispossess the ball carrier, or if it becomes a physically dangerous challenge.
Football is behind ruined by fouls being drawn by the ball carrier by going down at the faintest of touches, whereas it should be a fairer contest where defenders may use their strength to win the ball. Make the game beautiful again.
