Make payment of the BBC Licence Fee non- compulsory.
We would like the Government to dedicate some time to debating the right of individuals to withdraw from payment of the BBC Television Licence Fee
The BBC does not consult those who pay the Licence Fee which goes towards funding new projects. This is particularly important since the content of some programs is highly offensive to individuals and groups A recent example of this is the Series, ‘Thou Shalt not Lust’, which is insulting and offensive to the majority of Christian groups who form the majority of the Faith Groups in the UK. Why should we fund content which we find highly offensive?
