Introduce UK laws aligned with the EU Tax Avoidance Directive
Leaders are keen to reconcile the national divisions created by Brexit. We ask the UK Government to introduce UK laws aligned with the EU Tax Avoidance Directive as a demonstration of the effectiveness of British sovereignty.
This will be a demonstration of the effectiveness of British sovereignty supported by leave-supporters, and a reassurance to remain-supporters who are concerned the UK will become a tax haven. It will be a step towards reconciling the country as it shows how British independence of the EU can be used for the good of the general population.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government has already implemented the EU Anti-Tax Avoidance Directive: www.gov.uk/government/publications/controlled-foreign-companies-and-eu-anti-tax-avoidance-directive/controlled-foreign-companies-and-eu-anti-tax-avoidance-directive
If you want the Government to maintain alignment to EU tax avoidance rules in the future, we could accept a petition requesting that.
