Petition Action

Move secondary schools online in January

Petition Details

The UK Government must implement online learning in secondary schools in January, in order to slow the rapid spread of Covid-19 and protect pupils as well as staff.

Additional Information

SAGE has stated the scientific evidence is that in order to slow the spread of the new Covid-19 variant, the government must close schools in January. Hospitals across the UK are already being overwhelmed and pupils as well as teachers will face a much higher chance of being infected. The UK government must put science before politics and follow the scientific evidence that in order to contain the spread of the virus, schools must close and move online for January.
