Minimum 5Mbps Broadband Speed For Towns/Villages Of 100+ People By 2015

Additional Information

Much of the UK is disadvantaged by poor broadband speeds which impacts both business and domestic internet usage.

Whilst it is not feasible to accommodate every property in the UK regardless of location, we need a minimum speed for towns/villages in which a reasonable number of people live.

We want a policy commitment from the Government of 5Mbps for every town/village inhabited by 100 people or more by 2015, backed up by legislation and heavy financial penalties from OFCOM if it doesn't happen.
