Appoint Mr Claude Littner, Entrepreneur, of The Apprentice to the House of Lords
To appoint Mr Claude Littner, business executive, to the House of Lords. He is the former chairman of Viglen, Powerleague ASCO, Azzuri Communications, Deputy Chairman of Blacks Leisure and former chief executive of Tottenham Hotspur.
Mr Littner is a successful entrepreneur and businessman with almost fifty years experience. He has chaired Amstrad International, Amstrad Spain, Dancall Telecom and Viglen for Lord Alan Sugar in addition to his own companies, and is also Visiting Professor at the University of West London Business School. The University named their Business School after him in 2014 due to his exemplary record in business.
