We are gathering signatures for this petition to make nursery stores up and down the U.K. essential.

Nursery stores sell life saving and legally required items such as car seats.

Additional Information

The statistics released by the department for transport 2019 showed that 2,692 children were killed or seriously injured in a car collision, 37 out of 47 car seats when stop checked by professionals were declared either unfit for use or incorrectly installed.

As well as an estimated 230 infants a year die of SIDS. Nursery stores stock the correct legal equipment that make raising infants as safe as possible, from how to safely sleep your baby to what car seat is safest and how to correctly fit
