Keep schools,colleges & universities closed in the New Year until end of spring.
Scientists and the government believed that groups of people indoors increased transmission of the virus months ago. Now that there is a new strain which is even more contagious, surely the sensible thing to do is to shut schools, colleges & universities now to prevent further transmission?
Protect the NHS, and save lives.

Since you started your petition the Government has announced that primary schools, secondary schools and colleges across England must move to remote provision from 5 January 2021, except for vulnerable children and the children of key workers.
