Establish a “Stand your ground” law, allowing any defence the victim sees fit
Ideally, the outcome of this would be that self defence laws within the uk would change to allow the victim of a crime (burglary, mugging etc) to use any force that they feel is necessary at the time. This would mean they were exempt from being charged with assault.
The British people deserve a right to defend ourselves. If someone was to break into my home and I killed them, I’d go to court. This acts as a deterrent for defending ourselves. People wouldn’t break in to a house when they know that they might end up dead. We propose a stand your ground law, where we use any means necessary to neutralise a threat, be this using a knife or other item in a house.

It is already the case that a person may use reasonable force for the purpose of self-defence, defence of property, prevention of crime and lawful arrest. Decisions about whether the use of force is lawful is a matter for the courts, and not the Government or Parliament.
