All Trail Hunt Hounds to be muzzled when released from kennels to public areas

Petition Details

Make it law to muzzle all hunting hounds when they are let out of the security of their kennels

Additional Information

There are incidents of the mauling, maiming and killing of domestic animals by packs of trail hounds who are beyond the control of the huntsmen. Any domestic dog and it’s owner who is found to have killed a domestic animal is already subject to the law.
To take a pack of hounds which are not domesticated pets and allow them to run loose cannot prevent the danger of them attacking and killing docile pets and domestic pastoral animals.
